Words With Friends.

This girl I follow on Twitter told me about an iPhone app today called Words With Friends. It’s basically Scrabble. You can play with someone random or someone you know. I like it because you don’t have to sit and play the game all at once. You can come back to it whenever you want and it will send your opponent a message to let them know you played your next word. She and I started a game tonight and will get back to it tomorrow. You can play more than one game at a time. I am also playing two games with other random people. Brooklyn’s Half Birthday.

Brooklyn turned 6 months old today! We didn’t do anything too exciting but I think she had a good day

This morning we hung out in bed and she played with some of her toys.

Then we walked over to the park so she could swing & slide.

After that our cousins Chanelle and Carly came over. They brought Brooklyn a Happy Birthday Princess balloon They are always so thoughtful! We all went to dinner at Chevy’s and Brooklyn slept through most of it.

Then we came home and she ate oatmeal cereal in her new high chair for the first time.

Bath time!

Then we got all ready for bed. She played a little more, had a bottle, and fell asleep.

Daddy’s Girl.

Justin has been waiting six months for this outfit to fit Brooklyn He is a Jordan lover and insists that Brooklyn be too!

Tomorrow.

Brooklyn will be six months old I cannot believe how quickly the time has passed. In another six months she will be a year old! I am sad that she is not my tiny little baby anymore but she is more fun everyday. She is sitting up great now. She rolls all over the place, laughs like crazy, and is trying to scoot. I feel so blessed to have a healthy, happy, beautiful baby

Up

Tonight we hung out with Matt, Michelle, and Madison. We went to some new BBQ place by their house for dinner and then watched the movie Up. It was a cute movie but why does Disney always have to make their movies sorta sad?!?

Rated R

Rihanna’s new album, Rated R, leaked today. I haven’t had a chance to listen to the whole thing yet but I have a few favorites already. Rude Boy comes in at the top. Next would be So Hard with Young Jeezy. I also like Rockstar, and Russian Roulette is growing on me. There seem to be quite a few songs directed towards Chris Brown that are a little depressing. She drops a lot of F bombs, “bitches”, and the N word, which seem to back up the Rated R album title. I honestly loved every song on Good Girl Gone Bad and I don’t think Rated R will have as many hits. I love Rihanna though and definitely think it’s worth a listen!

Newest Purchases.

Made some returns this week and got some new things

My new favorite jeans are my Hudsons so I decided to get another pair.

I have had my eye on these flats for a while now and finally picked them up today.

And lastly, I went to Abercrombie and got a pair of boyfriend jeans. I never shop here anymore but I wasn’t looking to spend $150+ on another pair of jeans.

Groceries.

Every time we go to the grocery store we seem to spend a ton of money and come home with drinks and snacks but nothing of real substance. Today we were on a mission to spend as little as possible and actually come home with food! We have never really been coupon clippers but Safeway had some great deals this weekend. They had a coupon for a “free breakfast” which consisted of a carton of eggs, pack of bacon, english muffins & a half gallon of orange juice. We spent $101 and I actually feel like we can make all our meals for the week! I’m feeling accomplished

Today.

I did absolutely nothing today. Justin’s flu seems to have turned into a horrible cold I am feeling much better though! Brooklyn hasn’t been feeling well so she has been sleeping like shit. We watched more TV today than we would normally watch in a week.

This morning we watched The Score with Edward Norton & Robert DeNiro. We have seen it before but not in quite a while. It’s a good one.

Then we watched Changing Lanes with Samuel Jackson & Ben Affleck. I missed a chunk of this one but what I did see was good.

After that we watched a few episodes of Million Dollar Listing followed by a few episodes of Flipping Out. Both of these shows are on Bravo. I especially like Million Dollar Listing. It’s about 3 real estate agents who sell million dollar homes in Southern California. The commission they make off of these homes is unreal.

Lastly, we watched the movie Lakeview Terrace with Samuel Jackson & Kerry Washington. I thought it was pretty good. Samuel is crazy in this movie.

Now we will lay in bed and watch Two and a Half Men. This show is hilarious and always great for a good laugh!

I DVR Oprah and Ellen everyday and if I like the topic or guests I will watch that too. Justin thinks Ellen is funny but doesn’t get excited about watching these with me.

I usually feel like we watch a lot more shows than this, I think a few have recently ended.
